What to expect at your appointment

Included in each evaluation/first appointment

  • Review of your past medical history, pertinent history that relates to your concerns and your treatment focus/goals
  • Screening of your functional movements such as walking, squatting and looking at different joints of your body and how they move
  • Education related to your concerns and care

Other evaluation/first appointment options

  • Manual examination of the external and/or internal pelvic floor for proper
    assessment of the musculoskeletal system
  • Discussion of concerns

What to expect with your treatment

  • Manual therapy: trigger point release, myofascial release, muscle energy
    release, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue mobilizations
  • Extensive education as well as exercises for proper posture, flexibility, motion
    and strength
  • Biofeedback for proper muscle recruitment
  • Somatic bodywork including scar tissue and visceral releases
